Rabbi Taff speaks about our responsibility as Jews to make a stronger connection to the State of Israel. Here are ten ways in which you might consider helping. Let us give ongoing support to the people and the State of Israel.

www.afmda.org:  Magen David Adom, now a part of the International Red Cross, is the first medical responder to terrorism in Israel.

www.aipac.org:  The main pro-Israel lobbying group utilizes grassroots democracy to keep American government support for Israel strong.

www.israelbonds.com:  Israel Bonds sells securities to provide vital economic resources to the Israeli infrastructure.

www.jnf.org:  Through the sale of trees, the Jewish National Fund promotes reforestation of Israeli forests.

www.masorti.org:  Support the Masorti Movement, Conservative Judaism’s organization of synagogues in Israel.

www.ujc.org:  United Jewish Communities provide direct aid and support to Israel.  When making your contribution, please indicate that you are a member of Mosaic Law Congregation and the Sacramento Jewish Community

Greater Sacramento Committee on Conscience To alert the conscience of greater Sacramento and beyond, influence policy makers, and stimulate worldwide action to confront and work to halt acts of genocide or related crimes against humanity in Sudan and elsewhere.

Yad Vashem , the Holocaust Martyrs' and Heroes' Remembrance Authority, was established in 1953 by an act of the Israeli Knesset. Since its inception, Yad Vashem has been entrusted with documenting the history of the Jewish people during the Holocaust period, preserving the memory and story of each of the six million victims, and imparting the legacy of the Holocaust for generations to come through its archives, library, school, museums and recognition of the Righteous Among the Nations.
