President's Message

Welcome and thanks for visiting our website. We hope you like what you see!

Mosaic Law Congregation is one of Sacramento’s oldest and most dynamic synagogues in the Sacramento region. Following our 100th anniversary several years ago, we embarked upon significant capital improvements on our 7 ½ acre facility. These included building a state of the art preschool and kindergarten through 6th grade - the Shalom School, an independent Jewish day school. We are also building the Center at Mosaic Law, a top notch event venue that includes an adult library, the Kashenberg-Ostrow-Hayward library. This facility will allow staged performances and concerts, not to mention catered events in a lovely environment.

A vital community Jewish day school, after school and adult evening education, an infant daycare facility, a Judaic resource library and a place for our elders to meet- just to name a few- all on our campus, were never dreamed of when our Synagogue was built. Now, as we embark upon our next 100 years, we will utilize and enjoy great facilities. This creates an opportunity for all those who wish to join in prayer, study, sports, entertainment, and friendship at Mosaic Law. We are meeting the challenges not only for ourselves and our needs, but for our parents, children and grandchildren. We are committed to remaining relevant in our technological and fast paced world today. Our doors must remain open very wide to everyone and we invite people in to join us.

I invite you to join me and your board to help continue this tradition. What interests you? What unique attributes will you bring to our planning and success? What friends and family members of yours aren't members of the Congregation? Will you aid in their recruitment? The membership committee is vibrant and ready. I need each and every one of you to step up and help. Say "yes" to Mosaic Law Congregation! Together, let's see where we can take this and let's have fun doing it together.

Feel free to email me with your comments or thoughts at president@mosaiclaw.org.
