Mosaic Law Curriculum Guide

Our 7th Grade - Kitah Zayin class meets on Mondays and Wednesdays, 4:15pm to 6:15pm

As students continue their study of Judaism in our school, we feel it is important to create a warm, supportive, loving, and challenging atmosphere.  Our curriculum seeks to involve our students in living, learning, and celebrating Judaism.  By experiencing Judaism, we hope to foster positive feelings, encourage a love of Torah and tradition, and impart knowledge that will help each student build a positive self-image.  There are several different subject areas, and each grade builds and expands upon knowledge gained in prior classes.  While there is a review of materials learned in previous classes, there are also new materials, skills, and concepts that are introduced each year.  Most of the students in seventh grade are engaged in preparation for their Bar/Bat Mitzvah.  It is our hope that our students - upon completion of seventh grade - will be knowledgeable and comfortable with the liturgy of our Shabbat and daily services.

Goals of the Class:
