Pint-Sized Picassos

Ages 12 months – 3 1/2 years old

Pint-Sized Picassos is a community-wide, total immersion art experience for parents with their children, aged 12 months – 3 1/2 years. Sessions are on Mondays or Wednesdays from 9:00am-10:30am or 11:00am-12:30pm. Parents and their young children will be offered a variety of art activities to explore together.

Kamala Alpert will serve as a facilitator, rather than a formal teacher, focusing on art and creativity. Examples of possible activities include, but are not limited to, mural painting, easel painting, watercolor, collage, chalk drawing, play dough and more!

Pint-Sized Picassos will strive to provide parents in the Sacramento community with an atmosphere of creativity and fun with materials that may be new to their young children.

The class motto is, THE PROCESS IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE PRODUCT. During preschool years, children love to explore art with their whole bodies, and this class will be a weekly opportunity to encourage this healthy exploration.

This collaborative parent/child program is sure to be a hit with all participants involved!
