Men's Club

The MLC Men’s Club wishes everyone a Shana Tovah Umetukah, a Sweet and Wonderful New Year! As we transition to this New Year, we have much to be thankful for. I personally would like to thank all the dedicated Men’s Club members who have keep this tradition going year after year. The Men’s Club has been here through thick and thin and I especially would like to thank Victor Strasser for all the work he has done, not just last year as President, but for all he has done for our shul.

For 5778, the Mosaic Law board will assume the mantle of “president” as we look for new leadership. This means we will have more bodies to do things, more brain capacity for creative outlets, and more mouths to sing out the great things we will be doing. We, as Mosaic Law will be bringing back Mitzvah Day 5778 and I see the Men’s Club being deeply involved in that event. There will be a Poker Night and other social events, as well as continuing the Yom Hashoah candle activities, the building of the Mosaic Law sukkah during the High Holydays and continuing to support education on campus. My goal is to swell the active participants within Men’s Club. Communication will be a key to the new push for the MLC Men’s Club, so look for information coming on new things for 5778.

Looking forward, we say “On Rosh Hashanah it is written… On Yom Kippur it is sealed.”  May it be written and may it be sealed that you have a new year that brings fulfillment and happiness, peace and prosperity - all of life’s very best things. Have a Happy, Healthy New Year!
