An Update to our Covid Policy

Dear Congregational Family,

As Covid continues its relentless attack in our community, Mosaic Law is amending its current Covid protocol. This updated policy goes into effect on Shabbat Bereishit, October 2, 2021.

As we continue to host in-person events, we want all ages to be welcome in our Sanctuary. To date, our non-High Holiday Covid policy has been that all are welcome if they wear a mask while indoors and are socially distant.

Teens and adults ages 13 and up are now required to provide proof of vaccination to attend Shabbat services. For those who are not vaccinated, you will need to provide proof of a negative Covid test (PCR) from the past 72 or 48 hours. We will not accept antigen testing nor at-home test results. Free PCR testing is available in Sacramento County and can be found at this link: https://www.saccounty.net/COVID-19/Pages/Symptom-Screening_MobileTestingSite.aspx

If you plan on attending Shabbat services, please upload and email a copy of your vaccination card or negative Covid test to Coral Wilson (cwilson@mosaiclaw.org). We encourage you to carry your proof of vaccination card with you while on campus.

Children ages 12 and under are welcome to attend services while wearing masks. The mask mandate applies to children ages 2-12.

Thank you for understanding our need to keep everyone safe.

Sincerely,

The Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees
