Noah Wolfe is a guitarist and multi-instrumentalist based in the Sacramento area. Born in San Francisco to Rabbi Greg Wolfe and cellist Julie Hochman, Noah was raised in Davis in a musical household where he studied piano and cello from a young age before settling on guitar as his primary instrument at age nine. The Davis public schools and community afforded Noah the opportunity to participate in many different musical ensembles through his formative years, where he found his passion for jazz music and improvisation. After high school, he attended CSU Northridge in the L.A. area, studying jazz guitar for two years before returning home to pursue experience in music production and recording. With a background of performing genres from doo-wop, rock n’ roll and blues, to jazz, folk, and even klezmer, he is comfortable teaching many styles of music to students of all abilities.
