Dear friends,
Shabbat Shalom in the Home (SSITH) is a free program for members and friends of Mosaic Law Congregation. Four times a year we designate a Friday night when Mosaic Law congregants celebrate Shabbat together in a small group setting in congregants’ homes. This is an excellent opportunity to meet and get to know your fellow congregants while observing the timeless rituals of Shabbat. Those of us who have participated in past installments of SSITH had a deeply fulfilling spiritual and social experience.
How does it work? Some members volunteer to host Shabbat dinners. Other congregants sign up to be guests. The hosts and guests are matched by taking into consideration the participants’ interests, ages, ages of children if any, proximity to each other, dinner time preference, level of kashrut, and more.
Please click on the links below to access the host/guest questionnaires and a list of frequently asked questions. To sign up, please fill out the appropriate questionnaire and drop it off at the Mosaic Law office or call the Mosaic Law office 488-1122 or call SSITH coordinator Alla Gamarnik 392-5782. Alternatively, you can contact Alla by email agamarnik@deltacollege.edu.
